Chiron Technology Pte Ltd started in 1994 as an equipment manufacturer catering to Quality and Reliability Assurance applications as well as Failure Analysis Laboratories. The product range includes the Automatic Curve Tracer, Emission Microscope, Intelligent Burn-In Systems, Burn-In Board Tester and BGA Tester. In year 2000, Chiron Technology expanded its product range into both Wafer and Package Level Reliability Test Solutions. The Research and Development (R&D) team from Chiron Technology efforts yielded the Centaur ™ Tester, a "True Parallel" Wafer Level Reliability Test System. This solution compliments both the Chiron-MI and XACT products offering very well.

Our sister company, Chiron SemiLab Pte Ltd was established in late 2001. The mission of Chiron SemiLab is to offer a complete reliability test service. This includes both wafer and package level reliability testing. Chiron SemiLab can provide the full range of tests specified in the proposed qualification standard, the Fabless Semiconductor Association. The most efficient operation of a quality and reliability test laboratory would start with a small in-house capability within any semiconductor fab. This facility should be just large enough to support a continuing product monitoring program. The sudden large demand associated with the qualification of a new process or changes to an existing process is most efficiently handled by out sourcing to a service laboratory such as Chiron SemiLab. Chiron SemiLab also possesses the knowledge and expertise to address the qualification demands of advanced process technologies such as Low K dielectrics, High K gate dielectrics, Cu Metallization and Strained Silicon.
